1. Information we handle

Depending on how you use Crezume, we may process:

• account details you submit, such as name, email address, password (stored in hashed form), role, gender, and date of birth;
• resume files you upload and the structured resume or portfolio data generated or edited from them;
• photos, project links, and other material you add to a portfolio;
• payment status and references from our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers);
• technical data needed to run the site, such as IP address, browser type, and session or security cookies; and
• messages you send us if you contact support.

Please do not upload information you are not allowed to share, or sensitive information that is not needed for a public portfolio.

2. Why we use it

We use this information to:

• create and maintain your account;
• analyse a resume, generate a portfolio, and host the pages you choose to publish;
• process payments and unlock paid features;
• secure the service, prevent abuse, and fix problems; and
• send service-related messages about your account.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it to make automated decisions that have legal effects about you beyond operating the product you asked for.

3. Public portfolios

If you publish a portfolio, the content on that page — including your name, photo, experience, projects, and any links you add — can be seen by anyone with the URL. Search engines or other people may copy or share that page. You control what you publish. Review it before you share the link.

4. Sharing

We may share information with:

• the payment provider that processes checkout;
• the automated analysis provider used to read resumes;
• hosting, email, and infrastructure providers that keep the service running; and
• authorities or advisers if we reasonably believe the law requires it, or to protect Crezume, our users, or the public.

Those parties process information under their own terms. We do not control how they operate once data is sent to them as needed for the service.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage that are needed to keep you signed in, protect forms, and operate the site. We do not currently use advertising cookies. If we later add optional analytics, we will update this page.

6. Retention and your choices

We keep account and portfolio data while your account is active, and for a further period if needed for backups, security, disputes, or legal records. You can update much of your information in the product. Where the product allows it, you can delete your account. You may also email us to ask about access, correction, or deletion.

Where applicable law gives you rights over personal information, you can try to exercise them through your account settings or by contacting us. We may need to verify the request and may refuse or limit it where the law allows.

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no website, transmission, or storage method is completely secure. You are responsible for using a strong password and for what you choose to publish.

8. Children

Crezume is not directed at children. If you are under 18, use the service only with a parent or guardian’s consent. If we learn we have collected information from a child in a way that is not allowed, we will delete it when we reasonably can.

9. Changes

We may update this policy by posting a new version here and changing the “Last updated” date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy for future use of the service.
